It depends on the job. Cashier no you don't need a degree. Buyer or management I would say yes you do.

It was a seasonal job, they could not give me a reason to stay put there and the pandemic shut everything down for awhile anyway...

I was hired at Bayshore LINY store 1994 for the men’s Fragrance Dept. and then moved to Women’s Fine Fragrance . I loved my job and working full time for Macy’s I con’t there until they closed store for complete and total renovations in 2010 2011 . I went to Macy’s Hampton Bays LINY and the position available was for fine Jewelry and I stayed until 2016 . We moved to Naples Fl . I have thought seriously about going for a part time position at The Macy’s Naples Coastland location Fl store if something was available in Frag’s as I spent 16 + plus yrs selling Frags So all in all I Loved being employed by Macy’s Just a side note I was also employee of the year at the Macy’s Bayshore Location 2006 . There are great opportunities at Macy’s and my personal experience is one that I am proud of in my lifetime . Thank you
