As a First Student Bus Driver, your major responsibilities will be to: Safely transports passengers Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections Assists students in the loading and unloading process

Requirements for School Bus Driver positions: HS / GED At least 21 years old Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years At least 3 consecutive years of driving experience (good record driving a regular vehicle) Live within Springfield, IL or the surrounding community Pass a background check, drug screen & physical Ability to work with children Good verbal communication skills

Qualified Driver CDL School Bus

Am currently employed as Driver for Sun Van, Tucson's ADA Para-Transit public transportation service for citizens who have disabilities. Current FBI finger-print card, CPR training, etc.

If you are looking for a good school district Des Arc is it. I love working for Des Arc. Great teachers, great supervisor and great coworkers. We all work together to make it a great districts, including our parents.

In general it’s a great school district. They may not be willing to work with any crisis you might be dealing with, may not back up their employees, but the co-workers are great, the students inspiring. I was proud to work there and I looked forward to waking up and doing my job. So if you can keep all these things in perspective, it’s a great deal of fun.
