The people around me and the ability to meet new and interesting people. AT&T has a great program of people and they are all good ethical people.

Avery, that a Cell Phone retail location so you won't find any service and installation technical positions listed on their webpage. If you search under AT&T Careers webpage and filter your search for "Technicians" jobs in Mobil, AL then you'll find this job opening (http://connect.att.jobs/mobile/technician/jobid9884383-satellite-installation-technician-washington-&-clarke-county-al_greene-county-ms-jobs) Your education and certification makes you a good candidate but you have to apply 1st to be considered... Good Luck!!

Contacting Companies After You Apply

So I've applied to work at AT&T as a retail sales consultant. The last update I saw on the status of my application was "Your resume has been forwarded for review" and that was on Feb 5th. I'm just wondering would it be okay to stop by the store in my town and talk to the manager there and just ask how long it takes to hear something? What is the protocool really when it comes to that? I've always been told it's good to place a phone call or go visit a few days after applying but others tell me it doesn't help you out in the long run. Thoughts?
