When you work in a small restaurant, you have a lot of responsibilities. For example, working in a small bar as a bartender adds more responsibilities absent from the manager.
When you work in a **large restaurant/bar, ** multiple managers can help to run shifts smoothly. Restaurant worker doesn't have to be responsible manager or have other responsibilities.
What would you prefer to work in a small/large restaurant?

I've done both. Can't say i have a preference. Sometimes bartending in a small place is better than large because you can pretty much handle the bar how you like if you like precision for efficiency. But having the extra help in large bars is clutch. Not having to worry about changing kegs wiping the bar down grabbing more bottles from the storage room etc. Only downside is splitting tips.

Both

I have worked in both and prefer a smaller restaurant. Not only was I able to learn more about the restaurant business by working many different positions, but I preferred the atmosphere overall.

Bigger the Better

Give me the small setting, more regulars better tips.

Small restaurant

Small restaurant

I have worked in both small and large restaurants . I prefer a small restaurant, because the environment and atmosphere is more chill and personable than like in a large one. Not recognized for your performance either like in a small restaurant.

I love to time I try to all night that'll when I do my best dishes
A small restaurant/bar because I know I can run the kitchen by myself. I also know with the right training and lots of practice realistically I could run both parts by myself however not on the same shift.
