You qualify for unemployment but every Saturday you have to sign in that you look for work cant find the work from May 1st till now I went through the same problem April 1st I got laid off but you have to send in messages every Saturday from being out of workI went back for six weeks and posted every week I was out of work and I got my check back within 2 days

It took 5 weeks from the day I applied to get the first payment, it will come just late.
