JOB SEEKER BEWARE - FinMkt and their Tedious Interview Process
I believe FinMkt is a great company with competitive pay and benefits, and I genuinely think I would have done well in the role. My issue is entirely with the hiring process.
I was contacted on 07/10/2026 for the Client Support Specialist role and spent nearly a month interviewing through four rounds. What wasn't made clear upfront was how many interviews would be required. The first two interviews were straightforward, but the third was with people I had already spoken to, and the fourth involved employees from departments that seemed to have little connection to a Customer Support role. It felt unnecessarily repetitive for a position that should have had a much simpler hiring process.
After the final interview, I went a week without an update. I was then asked to provide references, which made it seem like things were moving forward. Instead, on 08/07/2026, I received a brief email saying that due to "exciting events" within the company, hiring for the role had been paused. After investing nearly a month of my time, the communication felt impersonal and dismissive.
I'm not leaving this review because I dislike the company. I'm leaving it so other job seekers know what to expect. If you're interviewing here, ask how many rounds are involved before committing. Four weeks is a long time to invest only to have the role paused at the very end.
I sincerely hope FinMkt revisits its hiring process because the company itself seems like a great place to work. The candidate experience, however, could use significant improvement.

Verify Job Announcements Beforehand. [IBYC]
Would you verify a meal when they place it on the table? Or would you take it, as it is? Tell me the truth.
Didn't you order the roast beef from the menu and say..."well-done with green peppers on the side?"
A strategic question, for a simple answer, okay?
Now, would you verify the contents of your meal when eating at a new restaurant? Or would you take it, as it appears because of the reasonable cost?
The same holds true when receiving job announcements from recruiters. You have to verify the contents of offer before sending them your resume.
Best business practices always verify information contents management for taking action. Because some things can cause more harm than good.
Then, everything else falls-in-place.
That's the best way to win.
I Believe You Can!
