Following the approval of your comprehensive background check, you will need to attend a mandatory online orientation. After completion, you will receive an Activation Kit in the mail that includes a DoorDash Red PrePaid card and the Getting Started Manual. During this orientation, you will also submit a W-9 tax form and have the opportunity to purchase a red DoorDash insulated bag.
The DoorDash Driver Card is a tool for Dashers to be able to accept and pay for pick up and pay orders. You will receive the card by mail with the Activation Kit following your online DoorDash orientation.
The only required training session is to attend the online orientation. Many current and former Dashers state that the Dasher App is easy to use with a clean and straightforward layout. Check out the DoorDash Support Page if you have any further questions.
When on the main sign-up page, simply click the “Already Started Signing Up?” button. Login with the same email address and phone number that you used to sign up. If you’re missing any requirements, you’ll be prompted to complete your application. Otherwise, your status will appear.
DoorDash states that the average hiring and onboarding process takes just 1 - 2 weeks to become fully activated after you complete your sign-up.
