Would you rather work longer but fewer days a week or shorter but more days of the week?

People talk about a four-day work week to improve quality of life, but that might mean working 10 hours days.

Which scenario do you prefer? #WouldYouRather #watercooler

For those who have never done it, a 1-2 hour driving commute is AWFUL. #1, it is dangerous to do every day. #2 it is never less than a 1-2 hour commute and many times turns into a 2-4 hour commute with all of the construction and nut case drivers. Just look at the cumulative effect......240 days per year x 2+ hours per day is 480+ hours a year in your car. Even for those optimists who believe that they are productive in their car, you DO run out of things to do.

Would you rather have a job where you talk to people all day or a job where you stay at your desk by yourself all day?

So many people are hunting for new types of jobs, and one of the first things to consider is the best environment for you to enjoy work as much as possible.

Which environment do you thrive in?

Do not think your age when you are applying or during the interview. Act always as though you are 35. You will land a job very soon.

Best wishes always,

Gopi

Handshake, fist bump, elbow tap, other? What's your jive?

When I was a cashier, we made up handshakes for when you answered a customers question - no matter how small.

I would rather work independently, talking with others as needed but not necessarily avoiding others.
