When I worked for Disney I remember the long hours, that I sweat all day and that my feet would KILL mel, but none of that mattered when I saw a 5yr old or 75yr old having the time of their life. Going to Disney is a privilege for many families and when they finally make it there, you can see the excitement and pure joy in their eyes.
I am only nineteen and have not had many jobs yet, but I saw an article that said there is scientific evidence that people are happier and more efficient in their work in a happier environment...even the color of the walls matters. My previous conception of working was that you clock in at 9 and out at 5 and environment doesn’t matter, but I’m slowly realizing the importance of a happy workplace. We spend so many hours of our lives in these offices, shouldn’t we enjoy it? I was wondering if you (other jobcasers) are happy at your job, and if so, why? What makes it so enjoyable or unenjoyable? Is it the personality of coworkers or the appearance of the building?
I almost. gave up when i had a hard time learning the job
