I am able to learn something new everyday. Whether it be something I would like to learn about my job from a co-worker or supervisor or just get a great phone call from one of my customers saying they appreciate me everyday for everything I do for them.

I’m not sure wanted to is “my phrase.” I think what made me stay. I have been at UM since 1987. Moving from Mississippi at 20 yrs old. It was my first job and I never left.

It is a great place to grow and it is family now.

I enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life from students from neighboring States, foreign students and alumni, who left the University and used their education to be successful in many areas of life.

My favorite : Michigan was international. There were students from all over the world. Cultural opportumities were ;limitless. My least favorite thing was class size as an undergraduate. It was easy to get lost in the crowd.
