It was what I studied in College & my boss treated me good.

I wouldn't bother unless you like toxic work invironments none of the departments communicate or function with one another and easily half of the security supervisors are openly racist and sexist.

Great trainer an some great people

I never had any type of knowledge growing up about individuals with disabilities,so when I applied there was because I had a friend that her mother was employed there and said they needed help, and I desperately needed a job. I had just became a single parent of 4 girls without any help financially so was on my own. I applied and got the job right away. So the learning began. I went through so many challenging behaviors in the beginning, but I had went through abuse and to be honest I had it way worse in my personal life, I thought that that was nothing. As time went on and I got to know and care about the individuals,at the same time they were also getting to know and trust me also. The behaviors became less and less through the years and not only did I grow to love them all. They also grew to love me too. And they knew that I was someone they could trust. That I was there for them. I learnt also the clients were just like anyone, they were looking for someone they could care about, trust, and they actually have bigger hearts and more to give and share of themselves than some of the " Normal " people I knew. I loved to work with them and would do that again if I was capable physically again.
