Hi- I just thought I would post here. I'm trying to find an Office Position. I have Receptionist/Office Assistant/Clerical Assistant experience. I've had a couple interviews I thought I had it. I think my age may be factering in. I just turned 65 last week. I have alot of experience & general office skills. Any ideas for me? Thanks! #jobsearch #ageism #receptionist #advice

I agree with Leira. Training is on the job for how and what they want. The important thing is to be friendly and helpful. If you are interviewing, just seem friendly, interested in their company and show that you want to help people.

I received my training on the job. I applied to entry level jobs to start, then after getting some experience I applied to better jobs. Good luck. I'm sending prayers your way.
