I just applied for a diversity and Inclusion project management role and have a phone interview this afternoon. Has anyone interview in a similar role that might have sample interview questions and responses?

What is the purpose of a phone interview?.My resume is getting responses I have over 20 yrs experience in my field. But I must be awful at phone interviews as I get no follow-up in person interview after one I am starting to dread them.I do not know what I am doing wrong. I lam friendly and love talking to people

I applied to an Office Coordinator position and even got a referral from a current employee. I was contacted via email by a recruiter and was asked to provide dates and times for this week and next week. I was so excited. The issue is that I only provided dates and times for this week and had to send a second email suggesting dates and times for next week. It may look like I did not pay attention to detail. Your thoughts?

I’m just so confused right now. A week ago I got a message on LinkedIn from a recruiter specializing in my industry asking to speak with me over the phone. I replied back within the hour and we set up a time to talk the next day. The next day comes and I leave work and find a quiet space and wait for him to call me. And wait. And wait. Finally he sends me a message on LinkedIn “Sorry, I’ve been pulled into a meeting. Can we reschedule?”
Ok, so I’m a little annoyed but it happens so I understand. I definitely make sure to be friendly and understanding when I reply. I also ask him what time works best for him, since I have a pretty flexible schedule. Then I wait for a reply. And wait. And wait some more. By the next afternoon I’m wondering if I said something wrong, but then I look back at our chat log and I can’t find any instance where I said anything even slightly offensive. So I message him back suggesting that I’d be free at around 3:30pm if that works for him. Then I wait.
That was last Thursday and since then I have heard NOTHING from this guy. I feel like I’m going crazy. I look at the conversation and I can see no reason why he would want to drop me like that. And the things that bugs me the most is that HE contacted ME! Why contact someone out of the blue if you’re going to drop them like a hot potato the moment they show interest? And what else can I do? I have already sent two follow-up messages which he hasn’t replied to yet. Do I just keep sending him messages every few days? I’m sure that’s bound to get annoying for both of us. Anyways, I came here to vent, but also to ask if this type of thing has happened to anyone else. I have the feeling that I might not be alone here….
