- a) Time and a half (150% of your normal pay per hour)
- b) Double time (200%, or twice your normal pay per hour)
- c) Flextime later in the week (leaving early on a different day)
- d) Payment in kind - meals, sports, or entertainment tickets
- e) Something else - share in the comments
A and E. Time and a half, but at the same time, I would like to see tax breaks on overtime hours. This would be huge for middle class America

If a person works a 12 hour shift, is overtime only allowed on a day off?
Stressful days are...more overtime due to staff cutbacks .
So hr at my bf job is messing up his checks. She's shorting him 3 hrs on his overtime check and this week he didnt get his holiday pay. Also he asked for a employee handbook but they are saying that they are making a new one.
Is overtime voluntary or mandatory asking for friend ?
In this world as a disable individual per my Doctor but not Social Security Administration, I feel we are the most discriminated because we are limited to our ability to do things and idk about ya'll but I never liked and can't stand this At-Will Law it's a bunch of crap jow these employees gets to treat employers. No one should be summons to do mandatory OT or even make up time missed, I mean we have lives too....just venting
I have several openings in light industrial and housekeeping with immediate openings in the Pontiac area. Machine Operators, Assembly, Production workers, and Housekeeping. 10-12/hour + with lots of overtime potential. All shifts available.
Usually because it’s monotonous and there is never any appreciation for the hard work, unpaid overtime, holidays, and the sacrifices one makes to contribute for the greater good of the company. It’s a wonderful feeling to be told you’re doing a good job, if not what do you really mean to them? Performance bonuses also change an employee’s perspective as well, if they don’t step up someone who knows your true value will. Life is too short to not gain more knowledge, more experience, and a better way of life.
Actually, it is your problem! if your company doesn't make money, you won't have a job. However, if it becomes too much, you can refuse to work the overtime, and accept the resignation. You will be denied unemployment if you quit!!
