Sometimes you have to change the path you are on!
I am a hard worker, and I love people, I have earned allot of money working for myself. Life changed, my boys grew into men, my husbands health went down hill and our family business came to a screeching halt. Jobs in town were becoming scarce, but I had worked in psychiatric hospitals before, and held my CNA. I adored the clients, and the majority of the staff, but I met my very first Narcissistic boss, I really don't know how I managed 11 years because she started in on me day one, it was effecting my family, I was miserable, and never have I been harassed by a much younger, educated and very mean person in my life. I am no quitter, but I had so much on my plate and harassment of that sort is unbearable, so I took an early retirement and remodeled my home took care of some bills and bought my first road-bike. I guess there is a first for everything in life, I miss the clients, but truthfully that can get pretty depressing in itself. I am finally back to being my happy go lucky me, however its time for me to go back to work. I have been looking for work online maybe doing some freelancing. I am blogging and working on learning new skills. I wonder how it is in life that we can have the keys but remain miserable and truly it hurts everyone. Mostly the ones we went to work for to begin with our loved ones. Why did I believe I had to go through all of that, like I said it was a first, but never have I ever allowed anyone to treat me so badly, and I was not alone. Anyhow this was my very first run with narcissism and that was worse than any mental or personality disorder I have ever endured. Thank goodness I am not her spouse. Enough of that, I had to vent, I planned to retire at 65, but I don't think, I would have survived it, so many people treated so badly. Great benefits, great pay and wow not any amount of money is worth that for anybody!

Ex Nurses HELP
I worked for 28 years at a nurse in cardiology, IV Therapy, Open Heart, the list goes on. My problem now is that I have left the field, is my resume. Patient load, specialized training, conferences, awards and committee work does not translate well to any profession outside of healthcare. Anyone that has had this issue and was able to write a resume that show cased your time management, customer service, team work, management, and educational excellence please get in touch PLEASE. Truly willing to take any job, but I have hit a burn out level in nursing that I have to walk away.

Human Resources job
Hi! I been looking for a career in HR for an awfully long time and I don’t even know if I think it’s for me anymore more. When I graduated from college about 2005 I was in customer service at Strawbridges. So, I quickly entered the workforce “world” and now I’m stuck on my desires of what to do. I’ve been focusing on a backup nursing career for quite awhile, although I don’t think I know what I should do. It seems to be two different directions to choose from. Do you have any advice? Thank you very much.

Forever punished.
Nurse still being punished for allegations made 11 years ago. Can't find a job in Massachusetts to save my soul. I've applied at 50+ facilities, have gotten only 4 interviews. I'm at my wits end. Any suggestions for facilities willing to take a chance on me would be greatly appreciated.
