Outsourced Staffing for nurses

Has anyone else been getting the overseas nursing staffing agencies calling representing big companies for Remote Case Management type positions with contract nurse positions here in the US? I deal with these people all the time all from different agencies, and I STILL don't have a job, contract or otherwise. Mostly, I can't understand what they are saying, but I try to get the gist of it. They will usually tell me they have my resume and we just needed to come to an agreement on pay & benefits, once I do this, they tell me that their own boss will call me to verify everything we talked about & verified pay rate, then I'm supposed to wait for them to get back with me if the company chose me to advance to the next step. That is as far as I have ever gotten, Idk what to do about this, I need a job, but these people are not helping me, I'm grateful for the unemployment pay but it is just not enough, I am behind on everything. I just need a job and I don't have time to go back & forth playing games, UI only lasts a year, and I never even wanted to be on it this long, much less a year! Looking for Remote Case Management, I'm in Texas with a compact license if anyone has any suggestions, besides the obvious, lol Brenna, RN, BSN PS- FYI, I have been doing remote and even hybrid nursing for the past 10 years due to chronic pain to my back, neck, knees, hips, so this is where I'm at in my 30 plus year nursing career, no hands on nursing and it's great when I am employed. #jobsearch #workfromhome #advice #HELP...please

Assume nothing when it comes to refrences. Ask your references if they will give positive answers before applying.

Avoid wasting time on ghost jobs / dead postings.

The posting you're about to apply to might already be dead I track ~16,000 company career pages daily and followed 30,827 postings from the day they went up to the day they came down. Median lifespan: about 15 days. 4 in 10 are gone within a week.

If you're queuing up applications for the weekend, you're often applying to roles that already closed — the listing just hasn't been pulled from the aggregator yet. Same-day applying isn't just "best practice" advice, it's a measurable edge: the earlier you apply, the more of that 15-day window you're actually inside.

I built a free tool that also flags stale/ghost listings before you waste a cover letter on one: https://searchsteward.com/tools

Caregiving/job searching

I have been searching, and searching for a job that will actually hire, and I have had no luck. I am a bartender now, but it’s not bringing in the hours nor pay I am needing. I am financially struggling. I have so much good work experience being a caregiver/cna. #advice #jobsearch
