My name is Mike Rossie, and having spent the last 30 + years in the automotive repair industry where business has been steadily declining, I felt the need to make a career change. Cutting a tendon on one finger on my right hand didn't help matters any either. I am currently enrolled at ITT-Technical Institute in Little Rock, AR pursuing an Associates Degree in Networking Systems Administration program. Some of the younger classmates think I might be out of my league, and maybe I am. Some of you can tell me your thoughts on my situation. I can tell you right now there's not much anyone can say that will offend me in any way.

Currently I am a certified heavy duty diesel mechanic and am employed. I am looking for a career field change and am thinking about going to the IT field. I do not have any qualifications for this field but think it might be a better fit. Any advise on where to start?
I do.
