What I loved working at #It'sTimetoTalkandAct
I just completed my 91st episode of the Podcast and have been doing it weekly and bi-weekly for about 1 1/2 years. I have learned a lot more about preparation, timeliness and delivery in a news-related show situation. I enjoy the urgency of the recent news cycles, but also have learned that promotion and the correct use of social media are critical to success in Podcasting.

What a waste of my time, gas, and bridge money...
Went to a job interview today in Cherry Hill, and it wasn't even an interview, it was a "Meet and Greet"...basically a 5 minute conversation with some one who didn't even know what position I was interviewing for. He started to explain how I would be trained as a salesman/marketing professional. I stopped him, and explained I was there for an IT job..he was like, "Oh...yeah...our IT guy is leaving in a month. Seeya for round two of the interviews....NEXT!" They might call me, but unless they say something uber amazing to suck me back in, there will be no second interview.....

IT career and school

Good day everyone. I am rapidly relocating due to my father-in-law's decline in health and I am freaking out a tad because this means I may be jobless for quite sometime. I am relocating to Shreveport, Louisiana where IT jobs seem to be about "who you know". A little background: I just separated from the Air Force almost 2 years ago, with 9 years of Desktop support and 1 year of System Administration. The move has been granted because my husband is Active Duty and has received orders to do so.
Ok, now my question is, If I were to go to school full time to receive my degree, would that harm me in the future with getting back into the IT job world? I figured it would considering how quick technology updates and improves. Any advice would be great, thank you.

IT, Data Entry
Where are all the professional night positions, I am a mother who needs a night position, yet in my field this is next to impossible.......any suggestions?

I do have a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. I have associate in Business and one in IT. And I am still looking for a great job. I hate being told I am over educated. That is just as bad as saying you don't have enough education.
