How hard is it to get a Line cook job?
You have to have good timing with the other cooks on the line, know how to flip eggs & omelets in a pan, run the grill ect..! So if you have no cooking experience in a restaurant setting, it might be kinda hard!!
Right now is very hard ..there's not FT position and city is more difficult ...
What does it take to get hired at Walmart’??
Have an open schedule including weekends. Apply at all walmarts near you. One of them is bound to call you...no doubt. I applied 2x and both times I applied at a few locations. Both times a few walmart stores called me back to back. You can only choose one. Just make you sure you are willing and able to work different depts because they will work you...Good luck! Can you breath ? If yes , your in. BUT seriously, they will take you even w/o a high school diploma and even not being able pass screening for some jobs. All or most of the associate (floor clerk) jobs are unskilled positions. The State of Colorado (voters) passed a law that most retail employees will start being paid $15/hr. starting in 2 years. RSB

@James Cole it's not hard but it is a long process (max 3 months) there are interviews, background checks and drug tests that you will need to pass. Also, I saw in some places that it can be hard to be hired there because there are many applicants and few job openings. Good luck!

They were understanding of public transportation schedules. They also exhibited ZERO age bias which is, unfortunately, a rare trait in companies.
It’s not hard at all. I’ve worked at Walmart on 2 differerent occasions for a total of about 4 and half years. 1st time was in 2016 and the 2nd time was during the pandemic in August of 2020. All you have to do really is just pass the assessment when you apply.
