What made me stay at #McDonalds was

I’m very organized and energetic. It was priority for myself and my team to give our customers the best experience al all times. You have to remember your regulars names and engage with your customers because customer service and building a customer rapport was key for great business. I built the best team of hard workers and had an open door policy to reduce any drama attending to the my team’s individual strengths and weaknesses. I trained my team on everything so they had the opportunity to move up in the company if they wish. My motto is “ I’m as strong as my weakest link” I made sure I led by example being on time, working hard, upsell upsell, upsell, work fast with quality results and always be positive. I work closely with my District and General manager to make sure all of the needs of my Resturant were met. #bealeader #havefun #beconsistant #staypostivie

Interview questions that are FUN to ask and to answer!

Happy Monday Jobcasers! I was thinking this morning, we often sit through interviews both as the interviewer and candidate with questions that are… pretty boring. Sure, they give the interviewer a better idea of your skillset and your prior experience and you’re able to gain a better understanding of the company, the manager, their management style, etc.. But are they really getting to know YOU, and vice versa? I thought about this a bit and put together a few questions that can actually be FUN (yes, fun!) to ask on the interviewer side and answer on the candidate’s side: What is the most interesting thing about you that I won’t find on your resume? Who would win a fight between Batman and Spiderman? (One of my personal favorites) If a penguin walked in the door right now wearing a sombrero, what does he/she say when you ask why they’re there? What color crayon would you be? What was the last movie you watched and how would you rate it? If we were to hire you today, and gave you three wishes for your time here, what would those wishes be? What inspires you? What motivates and excites you? What do you want to be known for in the future? What did you want to be when you grew up when you were younger?

At the end of the day, in today’s extremely fast paced and digital age, we have lost touch with getting to know someone at a person level. I’m not saying you should probe into someone’s life, but allow them to tell you about them and see what a difference it can actually make.

And as always this is just my perspective and opinion! Good luck with your searches!
