I’m an owner operator just south of Columbus Ohio looking for a descent company to run local with any advice?

I am being out of work for almost 2 years and how I had manage my situation is by hire myself doing what I know how to do and more example I work in the body shop industry almost my whole life mainly managing the entire shop as a store manager but I also learned from the bottom all about repairs and paint so now I repair and paint car myself and also help my wife to clean offices that I manages to get thanks to my sales skills. I am sure you can do the same with what you know and can do. I guarantee you will be surprised of what you can accomplish it just take courage and faith in yourself.

When I first stated at this company it was a family oriented feel to it. Then it was bought out by other company. We moved to a better building and then everything changed. I was hired to do filing. It took them a year to hire me as an employee and finally gave me other opportunities to do more. I worked on AP and then they came to me to ask if I could help out with the AR dept. I did everything they asked me to do. And made less then everyone in the dept. Even the new hires made more than me. When they told me that they didn’t need my help in AR anymore they put me back to AP and limit my work load. I was out for my son’s surgery in which I had doctor notes and vacation time to cover. I fall going into the dept and hit my head on the metal door frame. I had an concussion in which I was back to work the next day in fear of losing my job. In which I had doctors notes to be out of work for 2 days with the concussion. I got a cold in which it turned into walking pneumonia and again I had a doctors note and also vacation time to cover and they still let me go! I am so tired of these companies saying they put families first...These corporate...all about the money....They forget who are the REAL people who do the work!

I wish I could find a company that would put their employees first. Understand that a mother is a mother first...Understand that a person’s health is important.

How do I start a small Business? Rules and regulations, and costs related. if anyone can show me, I will appreciate.

I understand people go through stuff. I get it I do believe me. I was adopted by my aunt who loved me like her our she became my mother, they were sharecroppers I was 7 years old working in a tobacco field all day long until I graduated high school in 1984. I learned in life we lose things family members, jobs our animals and so on but not one time did I give up on life or finding a job I kept fighting and fighting until I found another job in my life I have learned one thing you get knocked down and you get back up and keep fighting I promise you good things will happen for you God is good I speak from my heart. You can make it do not let a job become your life if you get fired hold your head up and say God has a much better job for me and a plan. Love yourself enough to say I am blessed and I will make it and that I am not a victim but a victor. I have been so blessed regardless of what goes on in my life I have been working on my tee shirt business called 5 AM Workout Tee Shirts And Apparel, LLC because I refuse to wear other companies tee shirts I started my own company so do not give up on yourself Gods plan is in motion right now.
