You Can't Always Win, But Don't Give Up!

Hello everyone, I hope and pray you are having a great start to your New Year.

Food for thought for life: We all know this is a tough world we live in today. In this life you live, you cant always win. But, dont give up. You have to believe that something different and something wonderful can happen.

Make a choice, just decide what its going be, who your going to be and how you gonna do it. You got to be ready at any moment to be able to sacrifice for what you are, for what you will become. You will win if you dont quite.

There will never be an point in your life, where its the right time to do a great thing. If your waiting for that perfect perfect moment, that perfect timing is not going to happen.

But, you know what you have to do?

You have to create the perfect time and the perfect opportunity and the perfect situation. You will win if you just keep trying. Dont give up, I believe in you and now its time you believe in you.

Finding jobs

Finding a job has been so challenging and depressing. I used to work in Human Resources before I left to help my husband out with his business. He has since closed the doors and finding work has been very challenging. I would love to get back into Human Resources.

The right one

When starting a business it is best to have a website. A website can host your work and be the bridge for communication for all visitors. Show who you are through the site and keep simple.

Tell It Tuesday!

Entrepreneurship is scary... However, EMPLOYMENT is a lot more scarier!

I'd rather scare myself all the to a successful brand with other successful people than walk on eggshells everyday, knowing I'm not earning enough to sustain myself, putting up with nonsense just to go somewhere I'm blatantly shown I'm not wanted and not knowing when they will decide when to cut my services.

One thing is for sure, I will not fire myself.

Be the Boss you have always wanted!

Business Owner

I have been self employed for 28 years. My business was always people driven, not profit driven. I always took care of my employees before myself. Don't get me wrong, I made enough personally to be comfortable, but keeping up with the Jones was never a goal. I encouraged positive, productive, healthy lifestyles. My employees were always available when a problem arose even on days off. Because I took care of them they took care of me and my company. Two years ago I was having some health issues. Trouble remembering, some terrible headaches, I decided it was just stress and dismissed it. Then I began having trouble with my vision. I thought I was just tired. Then a couple times my wife asked me if I had been drinking when arriving home from work. Apparently my balance was off. Memory got even worse, headaches daily. I decided to head to the doctor. I am pretty stubborn and don't really care for doctors. Well it turned out after a couple tests, a tennis ball sized tumor was compressing my frontal lobe. Removal was imperative. The brain surgeon ask me on a Thursday if I could come in Monday for surgery! What?!?!? That didn't give me a whole bunch of time to prepare for the worst outcome. Luckily I had been taking ibuprofen and had to be off 10 days prior to surgery. So I had approximately 2 weeks to get my affairs in order, talk with my children, see a priest, make sure insurance policies were good. And spend time with my wife. I dissolved my business and regrettably sent my employees different ways. Upon recovery, thanks be to God. I have no business but tons of drive. I no the ins and outs of business and have no desire to start another company up. I am looking for some help making decisions. Please comment on my post. Thank you.

HELP!!

HELP! I really need some help here. I've been a manager for about 16 years, so to me that's pretty easy. I also have a disabled son in middle school and the transition is hard for him. Very hard. Right now and for the last year I've been jobless due to my son and his transitioning. I've been throwing around ideas about trying to open a business, or something like that to help the community in some type of way, in these areas or something like that. But I don't have the funding don't know where to look, or go. Something like this could help about 30 percent of my city, and employ about 125 people, myself included. Please any ideas share or contact.
