I have no kind answer. I needed a paycheck.

Have a great work ethic. Be prompt and always strive to be your best. Retirement plans and other benefits are great.

Being in charge of an economics department represents a huge challenge. University professors like to question everything, but economics professors are even tougher. I learned to listen and to explore ways to advance as a group. I also learned to be their voice before the university's administration and learned how to motivate my colleagues to perform better. I understood the great responsibility being a professor means and why a position of headof the department is so important.

Sadly, it wasn't as "beneficial" as I thought it'd be. First off, if you have in-laws that have or still work with DOE, and you are not a part of that circle, you get treated like crap. On top of that, even when you serve as and assistant beginner, teachers expect you to KNOW how to run things. So, instead of instruction, it's just "here, have them read"... To, "hurry up, what's taking so long". Similarly, my friend went through the same treatment because he's not local, that was actually said to him. I'm never going back, it's a waste.

There should be a consistent and sequential curriculum, less meeings fro top down, no special positions(non classroom teachers), a dedicated discipline plan and no distict offices. Eliminate reource teachers and get them in the classrooms.

I worked for 34 years becauseI I loved my work, I had a excellent relationship with my students, colleagues and the administration. I had to retired because it was the time already .

Because this was my B.A and my M.E. With other certified.

I stayed because I enjoyed the people that I was wor and taking care of. I appreciated ho much trust they placed in me to make sure that the job I was providing was going to help make their lives better.

Don't trust them if you have principals, and work ethic. They will screw you every chance they get
