2 - Check the BBB Scam Tracker, the Better Business Bureau keeps track of known employment scams. Search the name of the company on the Scam Tracker and see if anything comes up.
3 - Check the company’s online presence, a real company will almost always have a professional-looking website. They may also have social media pages. The email addresses will be @companyname, not @gmail or @67z2x.
