The struggle is real!!!

I have been a manager for different retailers for over 14 years. I have multiple degrees and a ton of experience in human resources, payroll, p&l, conflict resolution, and a plethora of other things. Yet, I can not find a job outside of this field! I have even paid a company to rework my resume to better market the skills I have gained in order to get the jobs I want. So far not even a call back. I am open for relocation as well so I do not know what I need to do. Can someone give me some advice on possible steps to take to change careers? #advice #jobsearch #careerchange #management

I am applying to become an assistant teacher. I enjoy working in the field of education. I would love to become an early childhood teacher or a special education teacher. I had a job as a mentor at a community college for a few semesters. I enjoyed mentoring. #education #careerchange

Senior Dba Manager at Pnc Financial Services

Sure, like a tour guide in an area you are familiar with. Or say art job if you can draw and paint and music instructor. Or an instructor if you have skills in a special area, like fishing or exercise classes.

I am burned out at my job and will be 60 in 8 months. I can't quit without another job but I have no idea where to start. I don't want a career just a good paying job. Yikes! #jobsearch #advice #careerchange

7-Eleven was a good first job for me the only thing is location. I was in a bad area, so we dealt with a lot of crazy people, stealing, bad management, so just be careful with the location

I worked at 5 different locations, and it really matters on location and management. When it is in a good location then it makes all the difference, and if the owner is business savvy or not. I worked at 2 different locations but owned by the same guy who was gay and married to another guy. Gay no factor with me. But because he was he was very one sided opinionated and petty and racist . When the location is good and the owner/manager is at least descent its good in the hood and understood, good luck with that.
