Sometimes a package cannot be delivered due to gates being locked and customers not providing an access code. Even if you contact Amazon driver help and let them know of the situation, and Amazon tries to contact the customer and they don't get an answer either, Amazon will count it AGAINST you. The routes do not allow time for apartment searching or restroom breaks. As a driver, Amazon asks drivers to take pictures of delivered packages. There are situations where you cannot hide the package so porch pirates won't take the packages. Therefore, even after submitting a picture of where the package is left and a driver having no control of an environment that's very open, if the package is stolen, Amazon counts it against you. Amazon does not support their drivers and live in an unrealistic world.

They don’t care their workers, 1 month ago they made a mistake with the system, there weren’t scanning the packages that I was returning and then they said that I stole them, then they fired me without appeal. They simply don’t care others perspectives. I broke my car trying to go beyond of what I was asked to do, and then they fired my unfairly.
