Justine Walker...I know a lot of companies that hire people that have records. I need to know what state your in and I will give you a list of companies that will definitely hire you and the pay also depends what state your in. My husband also had the same problem

My husband is a convicted felon and did 7 years in prison he is now a supervisor at his job making $32.00 a hour he just graduated college and we just bought our first home please don't let people make you feel that your past defines you because it definitely does not it is a part of your history not the blueprint for the rest of your life

It seems like you have a lot on your plate. You're definitely working so hard for a better future for you and your children and you deserve more recognition. Please do not lose hope. You are the only one that can judge you. You know what you did wrong and what you are doing right to fix the past. Let it be an incentive to keep trying and going forward with your life. Everything that happens to us, has a purpose in this freaking crazy world but our Creator has a better plan for each one of us. You will have your chance to work, and when that happens, apply yourself to the fullest and the companies that would not hire you will notice what they lost. I got your 6!

I wish everyone could know exactly how hard it is to accomplish what you have. It's not just the addition you have to beat, but everything that goes with it.. unemployment, health problems, financial troubles, and the shame you feel every day. Just keep doing what you're doing & it will eventually get better. Thirteen years and counting here.

Listen man hang in there. I too have a record and I've been out of trouble for over 7 years. It's a crazy world we live. Men can become women and vice versa and im all good with that. I'm an opened minded person but people who have made mistakes and paid dearly for them, more than people even imagine. It's not just the jail time. It's the family we had to confess to and repair, the probation that seemed endless, the urine tests every week, and then being punished because jobs won't hire you, even though you work harder than most people you know that don't have records. It's time for this to stop. People change and they try to do right by everyone but this is a problem and why people end up continuing to be criminals because they somehow have to support their family who looks up to them. It's hard but hang in there you are going to make it.

Amazon will take people with a record for the fulfillment centers and they start off at 17 and cap off at 19

Unfortunately, until you become the one who signs the front of the check instead of the back of it, low-end jobs might be your destiny. Bloom where you are planted....be indispensible, prove to the boss you are worthy, DON'T engage in workplace drama, don't bring YOUR drama to the workplace. You will either move up the chain of command, or you will finish school and maybe start your own business. Either way, you've known for sometime now that there's this cloud over you wherever you go. Prove you deserve more.
