Is there a work-from-home job that a convicted felon just released from 17 years of prison can do that doesn't require a car?

I was recently released from 17 years in prison for a felony that is making it extremely difficult to get a job. Is there a work-from-home job, entry level, with flexible hours that I can do while I go to Welding school in Orlando, FL? #workfromhome #jobsearch #advice

Try Angi- formerly Home Advisor. They will hire you, it’s nationwide, remote and they supply you with the computers and training. Best of luck to you. I have an extensive list of other companies that are felon-friendly if you are interested. :)

I wish you luck! Suggested by another in this post, try a Temp Agency. I worked as a Recruiter for a Temp Agency. Many ex-felons, started as Temps and worked into Permanent Positions. Possibly may have Remote Positions available, due to your transportation issue?

Work for yourself. I did. Do handyman work, landscaping, house painting. Set up a business for yourself and do that. Sweep chimneys, be a mobile mechanic. But I survived doing odd jobs through Craigslist.

First I would like to say congratulations on getting out of prison and also because you're very open about it. I do have one piece of advice though. When you are trying to get a job never tell them you're going to school for something else. They want to know that you are going to be dedicated to the work you're doing not just using it as a stopgap while you learn how to do something else. Tana
