My current job is at an outdoor music venue, but in the past Iโve spent most summers working the patio shift at whichever brewery ๐บ employed me at the time. There are certainly benefits to working outside, and fresh air can mean some pretty fresh tips ๐ธ as well! But obviously the sunburn, dehydration, running farther from the kitchen to deliver plates, and more intensive set up/ clean up - can all be more challenging than working indoors. ๐ฝ
Would you rather work inside with air-conditioning on a slow shift or would you rather run around outside in the heat and make big tips?? ๐ ๐ฅ ๐จ ๐ ๐ป

Inside in comfort definitely. I did a Banquet Serving shift at a local college last summer...
Bees were everywhere. Attacking the families, food and the workers.
Long black buttons down shirts and black pants on in 98 degree weather. Nope Nope Nope! And of course we were serving the ice cream and sweet stuff.
I'm not going back to that college to serve. They should at least tell you where your assignment will be.

I'm always on making my money game! Nowadays, I'm working with a restaurant whose house pooling tips weekly. I get scheduled outside sometimes and inside. When I work inside, outside servers are killing it! In the end, we are all making money. If I work only my tips, I always say "outside" in the summertime!
I like to be outside, but I prefer to work on the inside! My job requires me to travel to different client businesses but I work mostly on the inside!

I'm sorry what I ment was, being outside is good for your body and soul. We sell cute hats with bows n stuff at my wk for $1.25 and umbrellas for food. I feel for ya when it comes to being out in the heat. Stay hydrated hun. :)
I can't lie I use to be an outside person till I moved here from La.The flies are horrible and the heat is too much.now I'm assuming this is about babysitting and of course children need vitamin d with moderation.
