Due to commute costs, time spent traveling, office distractions, and ongoing vehicle maintenance—just to name a few—I strongly prefer fully remote roles. Living an hour from the nearest major city means most opportunities require significant travel, which adds up quickly in both time and expense.

I’ve found that I’m more productive working remotely. My kitchen and restroom are just steps away, allowing me to save time and stay focused. I can take lunch in my own yard or home, giving me a true mental break before diving back into the afternoon. Even small personal tasks—like handling a quick errand or household chore during a break—help me maintain better work-life balance without compromising my professional responsibilities.

Remote work allows me to manage my time more efficiently, stay energized, and deliver consistent, high-quality support. It’s not just a preference—it’s a smarter, more sustainable way to work.

Need to save money instead of paying a cab to take me back home because of the expense, it makes it look like you are working to just pay for transportation. AMH
