Are there any jobs available for felons?
I got out of jail, ready to start my life over. Start fresh. You know, do it right this time? My brother and sister in law took me in and not only housed me but my sister in law hired me as her office assistant and gave me a chance to prove myself which in all the hardwork I put in at that job and the dedication to my job I did a lot of training and gained a lot of skills unfortunately due to my health I was let go March 2021. It had been 7 months and every job I've applied to has rejected me due to my felony drug charge from 3 years ago my 2 misdemeanors from 3 years ago my theft III and my identity theft which was a misunderstanding. I have applied for over 100 jobs and have been rejected every time. Please help me by letting me know of any jobs in the Willamette Valley of Oregon or the Vancouver Seattle area of Washington that hire felons. Thank you #advice #jobsearch #interview #followup #application #backgroundcheck #termination #unemployment

honey, why did your sister do all that for you and then let you go for an illness. are you sure that was the reason or just what you want people to believe. any case, you will have a hard time getting a job with your criminal history. do you still live with them are they still helping you. never ever burn your bridges and i hope you have not. i know from reading the specialist that post jobs there are places who give second chances. the only worry i would have is that your criminal past is in the last 3 years and not many years ago. the perspective employers may think its to soon to much of a risk and what if your reoffend using there technology and cause them to have to fight a law suite because of something you did. i am not knocking you down or saying this will happen but put yourself on both sides of the chopping block. good luck, take care and maybe see a therapist to help you.

Hello! First try to understand from some of the perspectives of ones who have not accepted to employ you. I would try to volunteer for at least a year. From there the trust factor with the employer could be established. I believe that this person may also have a net work of business connection. Trust is the operative word. Build it. Good Luck
Try a staffing agency, they might not be so difficult to get an interview, I am not sure id want to hire a felon who stole.. big big risk. But everyone does deserve a second chance. Keep trying.
