My post is about some simple words of advice from my own experience.

Just because someone has a difference, doesn't mean that he/she is incompetent to have employment somewhere. Start with volunteer work to get some experience. It's great to put on a resume. #wordsofadvice #volunteer #jobsearch #application

Volunteer Opportunities at the US Forest Service!

For more than 100 years, the Forest Service has brought people and communities together to answer the call of conservation.

Through campground hosting, trail maintenance, visitor services, research and more, volunteers make significant contributions to the legacy of conservation for future generations.

Volunteering provides great opportunities to:

  • Help improve forests and grasslands
  • Learn more about natural and cultural resources
  • Meet new people and form valuable connections
  • Get involved as a citizen steward

How to volunteer?

  • Contact your local forest or grassland, or Forest Service Regional Liaison
  • Search for partner organizations who work on forests or grasslands
  • Find all the latest information at US Forestry Service Volunteer Opportunities

Does anyone have any volunteer suggestions for the Holiday’s?

I have some free time this season that I’d like to spend volunteering in my community. I’m totally new to this and don’t know how to go about getting involved.

SHOUT OUT TO ALL JOB SEARCHERS STAY POSITIVE TRY TO VOLUNTEER IT IS REAL

I just want to share with all. Please be open to do some volunteer work use your skills to help a cause and build your up your confidence. You will meet people, you would not ordinarily meet because you are out of the house. I recently realized what I wanted to be now that I am grownup. When you know what you want to do you can focus on one resume one industry one cover letter and your confidence level will be increase. I promise you that when you choose your path and volunteer, have a strategy it all will come together.

Be true to self!

I am 16 years old and I love helping people. For the past 3 years I have volunteered in multiple community service programs. I was wondering how can I use my experience doing community service to get a job? What kind of job can I get that is not retail or fast food?

Re: Gaining Hands On Experience

I have a Master's in Human Resources with a specialization in Organizational Design & Development. I reside in Charlotte, NC and interested in gaining some hands on experience with the data bases that are used to recruit in today's Human Resources field. I am willing to volunteer to gain this knowledge and would be most grateful for the opportunity.

Does anyone know where i could start with my career without having to volunteer for 3 years?

Hello everyone , due to circumstances that could affect my future i need to find a job that is the best of both worlds between getting paid and practicing in Human Rights. At the moment i am an intern , however my circumstances have changed and finance is becoming harder and harder. If anyone has any advice for me , please let me know .
