Before your interview at #Uber Eats make sure to...

Uber eats does not pay for gas or car maintenance. So if car breaks down you have to pay the bill. You end up loosing money when you work for Uber eats. Company tries to save there own money by making you drive your own car. Uber is not going around very much longer if they are don’t help their drivers. Drivers are there money makers.

I felt proud to work for #Uber when...I would meet people from every walk of life. Scientisists, famous hockey players (GO BLUES) and people were appreciative of information I would share with them about St. Louis. It is a GREAT city.

I worked for nearly 1.5 yrs with Uber then Covid happened but I am going back soon to work for them again. It can't be work when you have so much fun. Can it? #coworkers #delta #foodservices #arch #stl #st Louis #CBG #theblues #Cardinals #July4 #centene #KSDK #KMOV #uber #washingtonuniversity

Chicago trip

Recently I received a request for a ride, the client called immediately after request and asked if I would take him to Chicago, I stated I would. During ride we talked briefly about people, business, and ourselves. Halfway to destination it was a downpour and it was going to be a longer ride then anticipated. We chuckled and continued on our way. It was a great conversation all the way there and the ride was most pleasant for myself and my client. Thank You Uber for giving me the opportunity to meet such great people. #MyDrives

A Memorable Uber drive

As an Uber driver, I've had the opportunity to meet many different people from various parts of the city, to different states, and even from other countries. In my first month driving, I can remember meeting a couple who were visiting from Australia. They had never been to the city and were very friendly people. They were heading to a local shopping center to spend some time as a family. The whole drive there was a fun experience for me because I felt honored to talk about my city and get to know a little about this family from another country. We laughed, talked politics, and they even shared some pictures of their home in Australia with me when we arrived at their destination. I felt as if these people were my neighbors yet they live so far away. It was a memorable drive to remember! #MyDrives

Living in the city

Well I am new to Uber but it has been a great experience my first week. My most memorable ride was a couple days ago when I gave the Vice President of Black Pride St.Louis a ride home... I learned a lot about the organization and what they are trying to do in the community. I hope to have many more experiences like this as I continue a carrier with Uber. #MyDrives

MY FIRST TRIP

THE DAY I STARTED MY FIRST TRIP I WAS VERY NERVOUS. I STARTED DRIVING TO THE DESTINATION FROM WHERE I PLANED TO START FROM. I PULLED INTO THE SERVICE STATION TO FILL MY TANK WITH GAS. AFTER I PULLED OVER INTO THE PARKING LOT AND TURNED MY PHONE ONLINE . JUST A FEW MINUTES MY PHONE WENT OFF. I BELIEVE MY HEART JUMPED INTO MY THROAT. I ANSWERED THE DESTINATION AND LEFT. I PULLED UP TO HER HOUSE AND SHE WAS STANDING THERE WITH A SUITCASE BESIDE HER. I THOUGT OH NO SHE IS GOING TO THE AIRPORT AND I WAS NOT SET UP YET TO GO THERE. I POLITLEY ASK HER IF THAT WAS WHERE SHE NEEDED TO GO. SHE SAID YES BUT NOT TILL THAT EVENING. RIGHT NOW SHE WAS GOING TO WORK IN IRVING. THEN TO THE AIRPORT AFTER I DREW A DEEP BREATH AND SAID OK. SHE RODE UPFRONT WITH ME AND WE TALKED ABOUT A LOT OF THINGS FROM HOME TO JOBS, TO KIDS, I KNOW THAT DOESN'T PROBABLY DOESN'T SOUND THAT EXCITING BUT IT BEING MY FIRST TRIP AND HER FIRST TRIP IT REALLY GAVE MY LOTS OF CONFIDENCE IN BEING ABLE TO DO THE JOB. SHERRI WAS A VERY SPECIAL PERSON AND I REALLY APPRECIATE HER COMPANY AND THE TIME THROUGH ALL OF THE TRAFFIC GOING OVER THERE. #MyDrives

My first day

Being new to Uber, my most memorable moments would have to be my first day. I turned the app on it immediately went off. The noise was so loud it scared me. I accepted the ride, took a deep breath and ran to the car. I was nervous and excited. Once I arrived to my pick up location it was a relief to know my rider used uber often. I immediately felt a relief. She shared great stories with me as I did with her. We laughed most of the 30 minute ride. The rest is history. I'm enjoying meeting so many new people. I love what I do and I do believe my first ride played a major role in that. #MyDrives
