When I was transcribing for two or more doctors, the 24 hour turnaround deadline could become a very stressful thing. I worked from home and had a family to care for also, so sometimes I had to pause the work to fix dinner and carry on my life. Doctor's sent up their dictation around 6:00-6:30 in the evening, which is when the clock started on the turnaround. That was usually the end of my day, so it could get stressful making that deadline.
