This scam ruined her life

PLEASE do not fall for this! On ANY social platform, if someone virtually approaches you to talk about Crypto, Bitcoin, NFTs, or FOREX trading - it's a scam!!

Want proof? This poor woman lost $390,000 on an online dating platform, and she's not alone. Crypto scams have bilked 💸 $7.7 billion from victims and that number continues to grow.

Scammers are clever, they can point to legitimate platforms, and have mastered the art of being convincing.

Here's how to fight back 💪WHEN YOU SEE THIS, HIT THE REPORT BUTTON, mute the conversation, and do not give the scammers the chance to thrive.

#work from home #scams

I was #scammed through one of these #work from home people. Advice, if you are asked to purchase equipment or software and they want you to cash a check for it, it is a #scam. Do not risk fraud by taking pictures of checks sent through emails. I do not believe these jobs are vetted. And the wording of the proposals are a clue also. Americans use words differently than someone who is not a native. We don't use phrases like "very kindly". Yes I am a little salty. I just want to work and people wasting my time with BS about great pay....

scam

I came across this and thought I would share it. While looking for a job to do from home I came across what seemed like a good fit. They wanted me to download Telegram; I did. The hiring manager was Brittany but when I called it was a man with a very thick foreign accent. Went through the interview process via Telegram and was asked about my credit card debt. Was offered the job, told they would send the equipment and software to the tune of almost $10K. Then they wanted a picture of my drivers license, front and back, address, phone, etc. I looked the company up on-line and they are 4 employee reviews, no contact number, just an address. Website had no link for customers. I think it was a scam. Just be careful. #jobsearch #scams #advice #application

Has anyone else noticed an uptick in scams in the job boards here lately ?

I have my certification for Real Estate Home inspection and found a job posted on Indeed a few days ago looking for an inspector and I applied for it. I got a message asking me to schedule an interview and when they called they were trying to recruit me to go to certification school for $1000 dollars. I reported the job to Indeed and the next day the same exact posting was listed with 4 other company names as the employers. I reported all of them as well. #jobsearch #scams
