California court rules that Uber + Lyft must classify drivers as employees

California has ruled that Uber and Lyft must treat their drivers as employees instead of independent contractors. This reclassification of workers will present a dramatic shift in Uber/Lyft's business model.

Treating #rideshare drivers as employees opposed to independent contractors will entitle workers to benefits such as minimum wage, sick leave, overtime, unemployment insurance, and expense reimbursement.

Uber and Lyft will have 30 days to comply with #California's law once the appeals process has finished.

Interview Therapy Session at Jobcase.com

Wow. I am reading some horror stories here that match mine with interviewers wasting people's time. I feel better now that I am not alone. I started to think it was me. After reading some of these comments it woke me up to realize that this is really happening out there. Unprofessional interviewers wasting people's time. I feel much better now. Hey next time you go out I might be your UBER DRIVER!! LOL

I stayed positive and motivated at my job by...

Mainly the money was the driving force. At times or all the time People is People with Several different Perspectives and Characteristics...And Uber and Lyft failed 1000 percent all the time too; because of it...Uber and Lyft Driving Force is their Ratings. So throughout your time while doing ride-sharing. Your a Robot and not being yourself. Because of fear of getting a bad Rating or receiving a Write Up; from a customer having a bad day. And the driver is a victim of circumstance because of it too...

My advice to people interested in working at #Lyft as a #OnTheRoadDriver ...

As a woman we are not safe and or properly protected. The people at the Lyft offices don't do much of anything when assaulted. Not safe for women!
