I need a job

I need a job. I have been trying everything. I am looking for a mid level management job. I have a Master,s of Science degree in Organizational Management and years of management experience. But I can't find a job. Every job I apply for on job posting websites has numerous job seekers already applying for the same job. Because of this companies can pay next to nothing and pick out of a hundred or more applicants. Please let me know what else I can do. I have been network with all my friends and also post on LinkedIn. If anyone has some advise, please let me know.

Advice Please

I currently migrated from the UK to the United States. Legally I can work and live here. I have a Masters of Science in Project Management from a very good University in the UK. I have been applying for so many jobs in relation to Project Management all to no avail. I walked into one organization after filling in the application I was told I have no working experience in United States so they can hire me. I am very confused and worried.

Looking to expand my skills

I've worked in several fields, and enjoy taking my skills from one, and dovetailing them into the next.

I'm not completely sure which field i'm going to work on learning more about next, but I think it will likely be one of the following; Project management, tech repair/installation, or mechanical engineering

Project Management Mentors of Detroit

This is a group that meets on the first Wednesday of most months. Despite the name, we meet in Troy, Michigan, which is about 20 miles north of Detroit. We discuss project management topics - often issues we've experienced in managing a project. And it counts toward continuing education for the PMP or CAPM certifications. If you're interested, feel free to contact me or see https://project-management.wikia.com/wiki/Project_Management_Mentors_of_Detroit .

Restarting career

After a successful career in project management I have taken a break to start a family and follow my. Husband around the world . I was also able to set up my own music teaching business and I was doing my own accounting and organizing recitals. I have recently relocated back to my country and doing music is not possible as the market if very competitive and rates are low. Looking to restart my career by going back into project management and administration or alternativelyproviding administrative translation and logistic support from Home. Any advice on how to get started. I am currently in Belgrade, Serbia
