Production Materials Coordinator at Hallmark Cards

You can apply on the Hallmark website and request for updates whenever there are any open positions available. The Hallmark headquarters are located in Kansas City, Missouri and the production facility is located in Lawrence, Kansas. There is also a subsidiary company called HBC of Hallmark in Duluth, MN. Warehouse Logistics at Pepsi Co

The most difficult part working for PepsiCo through my experience is the inventory management. Not so much the physical count of every single item, but the digital system when we receive new product, and the sequencing or placement of said item needs a location, a location ID, and Amy supported info that assists our warehouse team so everyone is on the same page. Just a pet peeve for myself

Headquartered in Pacoima, CA., MOC® maintains and manufactures over 300 products, tools, and customized service-drive programs. We operate regional facilities throughout the United States and have a network of Distributors covering the US, Mexico, and numerous foreign countries.

The Production Mechanic Manager (PMM) is responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of maintenance mechanics to ensure that compounding, bottling, labeling, and packaging equipment or instruments function reliably and safely. Monitor workers responsible for the maintenance of production equipment and related systems. Assist with root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement fixes. Ensure equipment integrity and timely repair with a focus on decreasing production downtime. Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs (troubleshooting of equipment issues). Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and output from current packaging lines and process.

The PMM is responsible for uptime and production throughput by implementing proven professional maintenance and reliability improvement processes.

Oversee activities of maintenance department. Review and approve preventative maintenance procedures and documents. Maintain preventive/predictive maintenance programs (including failure and root cause analysis). Adhere to established maintenance schedules. Manage the preventative maintenance and repairs on various blending and bottling line equipment such as conveyors, fillers, screw cappers, inkjet coders, printers, labelers, bottle unscramblers, palletizers, shrink wrappers, mixing tanks etc. Oversee and schedule line changeovers, adjustments, and synchronization to minimize downtime and ensure on-time start-ups. Identify the need for line or equipment upgrades to improved efficiency or output. Layout and installation of various line equipment. Identify, select, and collaborate with packaging equipment vendors that offer the best value service and equipment to facilitate the company’s improvement goals. Create commissioning plans to include staffing requirements, Supply Chain requirements and warehousing for new Packaging Lines or production equipment. Create and submit costing, benefits analysis and ROI data to ownership. Manages testing and commissioning activities of new installations. Monitor progress and document line status to the organization. Coordinate installation details with Project Engineers, Plant and Production Management Properly document maintenance and repair tasks using various computer programs. Conduct ongoing assessment of safety, efficiency, and operational procedures. Apply technical skills to troubleshoot, repair, adjust and improve blending, bottling and shrink wrap line equipment. Assist and support mechanics with machine trouble shooting and technical expertise. Ensure proper stocking levels of critical replacement parts. Procure parts, materials, and consumables needed to maintain the production equipment. Maintain good working relationships with vendors, equipment manufacturers and contractors within the support network. Ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner. Select, supervise, and provide professional development to maintenance personnel. Collaborate with Facility Manger to ensure physical structures, H.V.A.C., mechanical, electrical systems, utilities, and water systems are in a safe and optimized condition. Production Maintenance Supervisor Required Skills and Experience:

Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Packaging Engineering/Packaging Science Degree; 5-7 five years related experience in Food, Beverage, Cosmetic or Lubricants industry is preferred. Direct knowledge of packaging lines including filling, labelling, case handling and palletizing systems. Experience working in a manufacturing environment 4+ years supervisory experience. Ability to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneously. Self-motivated and disciplined team player. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be a Team Oriented Person Sound organizational skills. Ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Office suite applications. Detail-oriented, conscientious and able to work independently. Proven ability to multi-task effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Consistently demonstrate a positive approach and professional demeanor. Ability to handle exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment. Occasional lifting up to 50lbs. Well from my experience of being a machine operator it's alot focus know the in's and Outs of the entire machine knowing what to do in any situation how ever you ask about growing your career my advice to is to get a forklift license or a trade in a feel were there is demand how ever being machine operator. Can help grow your career by having experience and keeping a steady job that will show potential employers your work ethic
