I worked for Pat's Hallmark in Maryland. It was Family owened and I've never been happier at any other job before or since working there. Unfortunately they had to close their stores due to Obama's insurance policies.

I absolutely loved the job. Yes, there was tons of inventory at times during the holidays but I personally didn’t mind. I knew all the other associates at the 8 stores I did and helped them out when their customers would ask me where something was. You have to be a people person to work in this job.

Could not stand my immediate supervisor. She belittles you, treats you like a child, and sabotaged my stores. If she would’ve gotten a grip on her attitude I would’ve stil been there. She created a hostile work environment for me. I was her 9th person she has gone through.

Don't do it!!! I was employed with them for almost a year. The pay was horrible, the management worse (extremely unprofessional) and you have to work before and after EVERY major holiday. Not to mention that I was released over the telephone while running a 103 degree fever because I refused to come into work. I have owned 4 businesses, managed 150 people at American Express and am degreed, and as I am semi- retired was looking for a part time position.This was a very disappointing experience. No doubt Hallmark would be ashamed if they were aware.

It was front desk supervisor and I met many lovely people, my staff was Amazing and overall it’s was the most beautiful environment period
