Achievements on Resumes?
Hello, my name is Kenyati Scott and I'm 19 years old, just finished college for pipe welding and I'm wondering would it be okay to include a part for achievements on a resume even if I already do have everything listed in my education section, which has a list of classes and schools I've completed, that I've added to my resume? #resume #jobhunting #jobs #help
The STRUGGLE IS REAL!!!
I am writing my first resume and every word I put down on the page seems like a make or break. I second guess what I write a lot. I must have done like 30 revisions at this point. AHHHHHHHHH!!! Initially I think it takes a very loooong time to write a great cover letter and resume, but after that I am sure it will just be small changes here and there right? Right now it’s just a struggle. How many of you found it stressful to write your resume?
Looking for a Part time job while in college.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good places to work part time while in college, like places that isn't fast food? I worked at McDonald's for 11 months and didn't want to anymore because how stressful it was to me. What is your best job hunting tip?
My best tip is to make job hunting your job until you find one. Every day I am either in my home office on the pc searching and emailing or out interviewing from 8am to 5pm. My cell becomes my business phone. Until I secure a position this is my new job lol. I invested over 40 hours a week for someone else's dream I think it's time I do the same for my dream.
I think using the jobcase site is a great tip.
