High Speed Inserter Operators (3 - 12s AM and PM shifts) Full time permanent positions Salary: $37,440 - $45,760

Location: Plymouth, Minnesota (local candidates- no relocation)

Job Description

The High Speed Inserter Operator is an important part of the direct mail team and will have current working knowledge of USPS mail preparation rules and regulations. They will be responsible for the set up and running a wide variety mailing jobs on high-speed inserting equipment with built in camera & ink jetting. A strong attention to detail is required in this role due to many projects being 100% verified, secure mail, and / or match mailings.

Duties and Responsibilities

-Set-up, operate and troubleshoot inserters, cameras, and ink jets

-Read and understand job tickets to prepare and run jobs Complete inkjet check list upon set up of each job, secures appropriate sign-off of inkjet image before processing job.

-Oversee inkjet quality, assuring barcodes meet postal specifications, and image is clean and clear.

-Apply working knowledge of postal preparation including sortation, traying, sacking, and palletizing mail properly for each type of class of mail.

-Weekly maintenance and cleaning of inkjet, inserter, belts and filters.

-Ensures and is accountable for accuracy of product counts, quality, and meeting customer expectations.

-Maintain a clean, neat, and safe workspace

-Provide direction and training to mailing team members and Associates

-Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Experience:

•A High School diploma/GED

•Minimum of 2 years of related print or mailing working experience

•Experience with Pace/EFI Production system or similar production software.

•Preferred experience with MCS Perfect Match ink jet system, Pitney Bowes Flowmaster Inserter - Hi-speed with Camera matching, Read / Write Ink Jetting, W& D intelligent inserters, and 100% camera verification systems.

•Excellent communication and writing skills are essential to appropriately interpret production.

•Ability to interact with customers and internal clients in a professional manner is a key component of the position.

•Have high quality standards, mature judgement and strong organizational work habits.

•Must be able to read and measure with ruler, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Special Note: This position requires, or may require, access to “Client-Sensitive” data, PHI/ePHI access or authorization. Mandatory security training as well as background/drug screen/credit check will be implemented.

Physical duties

Continuous periods of standing while running equipment

Continuous small motor movements (Grasping, fanning, stacking)

Continuous lifting of 1-10 lbs and regular lifting up to 25-50lb mail trays

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
