It’s been very hard on me to get a job where I don’t have my Ged. I have been studying to take my test but without that an I haven’t had a job ever it’s been very rough. I’ve worked with people over the years cleaning there homes like dusting mopping vacuuming there carpets. Cleaning there kitchens washing dishes wiping everything off. Cleaning there bathroom area shower sinks toilets floors. I been trying really hard to get a job in something I enjoy doing. I wouldn’t mind being able to work with helping the elders in nursing homes. Hope everyone has a good day an God bless

Working without a HS diploma is worse than being an illegal immigrant. I wish I could have done more when I was younger to avoid the miserable working conditions and pay I’m forced to accept now because I don’t have a degree to qualify for better jobs. I’m looking for directions to free adult education classes to help me get a GED. Time is my biggest problem so anything I can do on the computer or on weekends works best. Thank you

I was recently offered a position at a hospital here in Georgia. But now my start date is on hold because they can't locate my GED from the 80's from California. And I was told that they are pretty strict about not letting you work without it. ..sigh!
