For more than 100 years, the Forest Service has brought people and communities together to answer the call of conservation.

Through campground hosting, trail maintenance, visitor services, research and more, volunteers make significant contributions to the legacy of conservation for future generations.

Volunteering provides great opportunities to:

  • Help improve forests and grasslands
  • Learn more about natural and cultural resources
  • Meet new people and form valuable connections
  • Get involved as a citizen steward

How to volunteer?

  • Contact your local forest or grassland, or Forest Service Regional Liaison
  • Search for partner organizations who work on forests or grasslands
  • Find all the latest information at US Forestry Service Volunteer Opportunities

Hi Gian-Carlo, I don't know much about forestry and what it entails. I did a search in the "Jobs" section with forestry and GA and this is the only job I found. Let me know if this is something that you are looking for.

Hi Gian-Carlo: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! Since you're looking for a state job, it seems like your best bet would be to extend your job search to the State of Georgia's job search site: http://www.gfc.state.ga.us/about-us/employment/

Let us know how it goes for you!

My name is Levi little I'm currently employed with Sumter Utilities. We build transmission power lines for different power company's in ga and surrounding states. I've been working here for a little over a year now and I love my job it just gets kind of old traveling every week. So I'm on the look out for something around my area. I appreciate the help.
