Staying current on food safety guidelines and programs. I have little bilingual skills(Spanish). Willing to ask for a bilingual co-worker to step in assist me.

Food safety in the production industry

I work in the food production industry for over 2 years now after having held administrative jobs all my life. I have had issues at my last job amd current job over whistle blowing. If my supervisor tells me to do something that compromises food safery and quality just to get higher production numbers, not only am i not going to do it but i will report it as well. Regulations are put in place for a reason to maintain the safety of the food that we as consumers eat. I will stick to my morals and ethics even if it makes me unpopular at work.

My unforgettable #homeofthegoodshepard moment

the so called food service director(james vollero) made 4 meat platters at 9am at let them set in a 80-85 degree kitchen until serving them to elderly residents at 12-noon(3 hours.) disgusting! Yet he still has a job there.
