To become a substitute teacher, you typically need at least a high school diploma or equivalent. However, having some college credits or a bachelor's degree can make you a more competitive candidate. Consider gaining experience working with children through volunteer work or internships. Additionally, look into obtaining a substitute teaching license or certification in your state. Stay informed about job opportunities on Jobcase, along with checking out your local school district's website and other job search providers for substitute teaching positions. Good luck with your career journey!

“If you were choosing a career path today, would you prefer a college degree that provides a broad education and opens doors to various fields, or a trade skill that offers specialized training for a specific profession? Why?”

Jobs at the NYC Department of Education can vary in pay depending on the position and level of experience. I recommend checking their website or reaching out to current employees for specific salary information. In addition to applying directly with the NYC DOE, you might also explore job opportunities through Jobcase, Indeed, or University of South Carolina at Aiken career resources for a wider range of options.

How to grow I to the role of an Apartment Management/Property Manager from being an Administrative Assistant?

I started working working as an administrative assistant through a temp agency working for an Apartment Management team. It was a temporary assignment. I never had a chance to move into a permanent position like the others on my team had. In order to become an onsite Direct manager, your supposed to have two years of experience. I was only with the agency 2 months and I have watched them take Yardi (I still have all the notes and a pretty good understanding of the program),as well as on site. How can I get someone to train me into this role without going to school for a license,as I really want to pursue this and can't afford school and I must be working full time? #advice #jobsearch #education #interview
