Long time stay at home mom looking for full-time job after almost 20 years of not employed

I am a stay at home mom, late 40s, looking for a full-time job now that my two children are in high school. After 20 years of being out of the workforce, I am concerned that no one will hire me.
I have a bachelor's degree in social work and was certified to teach grades 1-4. My teaching certification expired after 5 years. I was parent volunteer at my children's elementary school for 5 years.
What full-time jobs are available for me at this time? #advice #workfromhome #education #fulltime #backtoworkmoms #retail #interview #jobsearch

Do employers value experience?

I am curious to know if employers truly value experience or is academics most important in the sciences?

Getting started

Hi. I'm Ginny. I have my cdl but have had nothing but problems getting started. I went to school at a mega company, got my cdl but didn't get the road hrs..still being charged 6k. Disaster from the start. I actually got to drive 10k miles with small company in SC..which I wasn't covered by their insurance so there were things I couldn't do. So basically I need a trainer for road time. Ive spoken to several companies and been turned down. Is it possible to obtain without starting over in another school?

Work from home customer service positions

Hi, I was self employed for 25 years as a mental health counselor and am excellent with customer service and follow up on the phone and computer. I am looking for a customer service position where I can work from home and I am used to working across time zones. #remoteworker #workathome #customerservice #remotejobs #weekends #education #technicalsupport

You can work for Amazon in various roles as an hourly associate. Benefits day 1. Pay us competitive. Physical jobs. Management jobs require a degree. Can utilize benefits to earn a degree then try to grow in organization. Amazon looking to hire over 100,000 employees. Good luck
