My advice to people interested in working at #Dollar Tree ...
Get as far away as you can. Unfair and low paying . High expectations for minimum wage. Shop there don’t work there.

What I loved about working at #Dollar General was
There was nothing I loved about working for Dollar General. I was constantly over worked, underpaid, called various slurs by both coworkers and customers, and was held at gunpoint and pistol whipped while there and told they expected me to show up the next day and pretend nothing happened. If Dollar General was on fire I would say only Good Riddance. Quitting was the best thing I had ever done and I would gladly laugh in their face if they asked me to come back.

What made me stay at #Dollar Tree was
I always enjoy seeing my regular customers. I like a challenge, so it may not be for some people. training and information should be more readily available to employees.

What made me stay at #Dollar General was
I need a job and I kept hoping that the hours would improve but they didn't after two and a half years so I left.

Something I learned at #Dollar tree ...
Dollar tree has the most horrific management. District, and store managers! Family DOES NOT matter! If your kids are sick you can FORGET about calling out they don’t care about anything but themselves! Stealing is okay as long as it’s the store manager! But if you speak up you get in trouble! They don’t pay you for what you’re worth and wander why people don’t want to stay with the company, training is NOT an option. #wordsofadvice #jobsearch #tips

A LOL moment #Dollar General
When I started work at dollar general I had learned everything about my job title and duties in just one day. I had a great manager who loved her employees, she was nice enough to pick me up at my home and take me to work as early as 5:00 am. My manager saw all the potential I had and took her time with me. I had great experience working with the people.
