@Lashawnda Leas , looking at your question, which is only one sentence long, it's rather obvious that English is not your first language. That's okay, most of the time. A lot of people in this country are not native English speakers and they get jobs. A lot of people in this country are native English speakers and they can't write properly to save their lives. Because the resumes are processed by computer software, writing well is important. If you confuse the software, then your resume will disappear.
There are services that will look at your resume and find all the spelling, grammar, and usage errors. The people that work for these services are people who went to college and got a lot of experience writing. This is an "entry-level" job for them. I recommend that you hire one of these outfits. It will cost you on the order of $50 to $75 but if paying that money gets you a job even one day faster, then it will be worthwhile.
Did not get the position....received generic email telling me
So I applied for a position with a different healthcare facility than I currently work for and instead of calling to let me know I received a generic email stating while my background was impressive they chose other candidates over myself. Is it wrong that I reached out to the person I interviewed with letting him know I had some upcoming interviews with other companies and would like some feedback on my interview with their company and asked for critism so that I could improve my interviewing skills going forward, had they called me I would have loved to ask these follow up questions as I would love to know what areas I could improve upon. Just wanting to make sure I don't offend anyone by asking these questions? Thoughts?

I'm so sorry that so many people here have had such bad experiences. I've spent most of my job history working in HR or as an Office Manager. Only had one bad experience and that was co-workers and not the job itself or my superior's. Background checks should be alot faster than what some of you have experienced. Also I dont know when they retracted your offer, hopefully it wasnt at your first face to face as that would be very rude, but I've heard of that happening quite a bit. Very sad not to even get a chance to show your value

I had my interview already, I did my fingerprints and background check, emailed a copy of the fingerprints receipt and I was told the next step was to look for the New job offer and automatically reply by sending the fingerprint code . I'm still watching and waiting for the New Job Offer Letter .

Only in Alabama and just a few other states, make people take background checks just because they don't trust us anyway.
