You recently find out a co-worker of yours went to HR because you not being quite as chatty as them makes them “uncomfortable”, how would you react to this news?

I have seen it all personally I wouldn't care l don't talk and tell my business on any job l come to work not looking for friends l have my own

I kind of agree with @Tracy Gladney! I'd wait for HR to bring it up to me. Otherwise, I'd keep it business as usual and let my work speak for itself.

They need to talk to me about it.

OK. And?????

how did HR react to this. If it is a non-issue don't make it one

That is their problem and not yours.

If someone is feeling uncomfortable because I'm not as chatty, that is their problem. I'm paid to do a job and that comes first. She must have alot of time on her hands to be chatty. Again, not my problem.

I don't know if people who ask that question are aware of how rude it is or how much it makes the other person uncomfortable.

People always put themselves at risk by being talkative and voyeuristic, when I don't have a problem, I easily defend my reputation.
Nothing! Let them make a joke of themselves
