What is the company culture at Subway like?

SUBWAYS are franchised. It really depends on the owner, management, location and clientele

it literally depends on who the owner is. Subway in Galesburg was a nightmare, all employees are belittled everyday. Nobody is ever trained properly. Your training is getting caught doing it wrong then being written up for it. Fired if someone doesn't like you. talking crap behind everyone's back was 100% supported by management. Most of it not even truthful. managers are bullies. i loved working at another Subway not owned by an oil company.

The subway I worked at was laid back but busy we stayed busy in a little small town. They Friday nights was always good during football season

Subway corporate is still a huge part of the subway stores because they're independently owed. The atmosphere is all about making beautiful sandwiches correctly, wonderful customer service, working together with having a solid team. If you feel like your not going to get along with someone try to be on a different shift, it'll show in your sandwiches & you want to be the best sandwiches artist. Being an assistant manager I was in charge of making sure everyone did their job & did it well. I worked with my staff never asked them to do something that I wouldn't do. Being a team & working together giving people the best experience & having wonderful people to do it with makes it a fabulous experience but just like every job you can have some people that think its okay to slack, subway isn't the job for it with subway coming in monthly they'll noticed it & won't stand for it. I hope i helped butl E t me know if I need to go further in depth about what its like

It depends on the managers. It isn't always the same, but getting used to change does help.
